  4.                 Honey Caramels

  6. 2 c honey                    1 c nuts, chopped
  7. 1 c evaporated milk                1 pinch salt
  8. 3 T butter                    1 tsp vanilla
  9.  
  10. Mix honey and milk together.  Cook, stirring constantly, to firm ball stage:
  11. 255 degrees on candy thermometer.  Stir in butter, nuts, salt and vanilla.
  12. Pour into buttered 8-inch pan.    Cool and cut into one-inch squares.
